1. Lunch at the College of Food Birmingham Friday June 19th at 12 noon. Cost £11.75 per head
2. Visit to the Hippodrome Birmingham to see "Evita" on Wednesday October 14th Matinee. Cost £26.60 per head
Previous Events
The annual outing to the Panto in January was a
disapointment this year as only nine members turned out to
see the show. They missed a treat as the
Panto (Aladdin) this year was particularly good with
local commedian Don Mclean in very good form. Our annual Christmas bash was held on Wednesday 13th February when
17 out of a membership of 22 attended including our first new
member in five years! A good time was had by all and as usual the
food was very good. Unforunately one week after the event one of
the members attending, John Powell,died suddenly from heart
problems. John was only 62 and his death will come as
a shock to all who knew him. He was a very keen fisherman
and I am sure there will be many ex colleagues and
particularly the fishermen among us who will be saddened to here
of his death. We now look forward to the summer and our
next function, which hopefully will be lunch sometime in
June or perhaps a visit to the theatre around the same time.

new Revenue and Customs should read this and would like to take
