The 2009 singles and doubles competitions will be held at The Railway Institute, 22 Queen Street, York YO24 1AD during the two days of the 12th and 13th November 2009.The mixed doubles, men’s’ and women’s’ singles competitions and the singles plate event will be held on Thursday 12th November. The singles competitions will have a preliminary round robin, ideally in groups of four. The top two will qualify for the next stage with the remainder going into the Plate competition. Play will start at 10.30 am.

The men’s’ doubles, women’s’ doubles and the veterans competition will be held on Friday 13th November. Play will start at 9.30. A handicap singles will also be held. The format of the other competitions will depend on the number of entries received.

Accommodation has been arranged at the Ibis York Centre, 77 The Mount, York, Yorkshire, YO24 1BN. The club, with aid from the National Sports Club, will cover 25% making the cost £45.00 per night for a single room and £25.00 per person per night sharing.
