You may already know about or even be a member of the C & E History Network but I thought it worth bringing it to the attention of those who may not be aware of its existence.It is an informal organisation which was formed in 1996 and currently has approx. 150 members. It produces two newsletters each year which include articles and photos of all aspects of the workings of the Department over the years. A membership list (including contact addresses/tel. numbers/e-mail addresses) is issued annually with the November newsletter though members have the option of their details not being included.

It is also possible to obtain a thermally bound complete set of back numbers of newsletters (1996 to date) for the princely sum of £3.50. Apart from the interesting articles you never know you may establish contact with a long lost former colleague through the annual membership list!
